תחום ילדים, נוער וצעירים בסיכון מהווה נִדְבָּךְ מרכזי בבית הספר. הוא נשען על תפישת מקצוע העבודה הסוציאלית ככזה הפועל בסביבות חברתיות שונות ובתוך מגוון רחב של שירותים חברתיים, במטרה לאפשר לילדים, נוער וצעירים בסיכון להתפתח, לצמוח, לשפר את איכות חייהם ולהתמודד עם בעיות ומצוקות שונות. סגל המחקר וההוראה בבית הספר, המוביל את תחום ילדים, נוער וצעירים בסיכון, מציע ללומדים לתואר ראשון ולתארים מתקדמים קורסים תיאורטיים וטיפוליים מגוונים, בתחומי מומחיותם. בנוסף, בלימודי התואר השני מוצע לעובדים סוציאליים בעלי תואר ראשון ללמוד ב-"מסלול קליני ילד ונוער" ולהיחשף לגופי ידע ותיאוריות, שיטות התערבות מתקדמות לצד פיתוח ידע מחקרי בעולם התוכן של ילדים, בני נוער וסביבתם.
